YAY!!! ... It's beautiful!!!

I've been honored by Friends of the Friendless... :-)

>You see!? You see!!??

It makes coming back to work the day after Thanksgiving very much worth it.

Especially since the picture of the band has some of my faaaavorite people ever in it. ::biiiggrin::

... I wonder if the drum in that scene really says what it says it says in the picture.

Hi! I`m here from Carol`s blog. I am the flag bearer for "the band". Your blog comes across as energetic and positive. It`s such a great thing when one indulges in something that they love. The poetry conjures up such vivid and tactile(!)images. Enjoyable visit.

Hi Tabitha,

I'm from the Friendly Friday marching band. I really like your blog and what you say. I play the piano in the marching band. I know a strange instrument in a "band" but I always wanted to play piano. How about you? What instrument have you always wanted to be able to play? Come join us..:o)

I love your post "God save the Muse driven" I can relate very much to what you said. There are caring people out there who like to "share and respond" and then there are the constant ego driven, and I must say you certainly don't seem ego driven to me! There is a balance though and loving ourselves enables us to love others better...sooo..feel good about "you" "Go Girl"!

With Angel Blessings,

Rhiannon

Hiya, Mango Lane!

What sort of flag do you bear for the band? .... I was in the Color Guard at my high school. I ADORED being a band geek!

I am pleased you enjoyed your visit here. Thank you so much for stopping by with all of your kind words.

As for indulging in something I love, well, I find writing innate for me. I'd be very very depressed if I didn't indulge-- it's a lifeline!

And it's easy to keep producing. I am in touch with workshoppers who keep me on top of things. Good habits from college are quite handy, indeed!

And Hiya, Rhinnaon!

Thanks for coming by as well.

My mother is a piano teacher. ;-)

I guess one instrument I've thought of playing that I've never had the chance to is the cello. I've had a really blessed life-- I've learned piano, clarinet, oboe and guitar.

WOOHOO!!!

Now I feel like just writing all sorts of poetry... ;-) Thanks!

Why thank you, jal... I think yours is quite cool, too... I need to have a links to other blogs section, don't I!???

Piffle!!! And I here I sit, with Dante's Inferno in front of me, and I keep telling myself I have to work on revising my book!!!

I only feel like doing diversionary pastimes-- which only take short bursts of energy. Maybe I can allow myself to revise in short bursts. I just know how fiction's been in the past--- takes over my hours quickly....
